Overview: This is a traditional Filipino thatched cottage on a peaceful sandy beach, just 15-20 minutes walk from Puerto Galera. The main feature of the cottage is the wide porch and balcony that steps directly onto Encenada beach. The beach itself is secluded, has good quality whitesand, and is quiet. There is one twin bedroom upstairs and two double bedrooms downstairs each with an additional bed. Each bedroom is fitted with a fan. The town water supply is good, and the power supply is also from the town, backed up by a standby generator. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, a modern gas stove with an oven, and has all the necessary cooking equipment, crockery and glasses. All beddings are provided. The caretakers live very near by, and will take care of the cleaning as well as going to the market.
